Thread: 1909 amberg kar

  1. Default 1909 amberg kar

Does any one have an opinion as to value of a 1909 AMBERG carbine that has the wood removed from back of the middle band forward.. The hand guard is also gone as well as all the other metal bands. The remaining rifle is all matching with a strong but dark bore. Also, ( probably a stupid question ) is there any source for replacement stocks and hand guards. I have bought stocks from the guy in the Netherlands, but I think all he has is K98.

Worth about 200 bucks, good for sporterizing only. Original military stocks and parts very hard to impossible to find and even then it would be a m/m worth maybe 400-500, if that.
