Thread: Refinish M1C ?

  1. #1

    Default Refinish M1C ?

I purchased an original M1C with just the base from the CMP, I am going to have dgr replace the stock on it because it is shot.

It has a new Barnett barrel on it

Would I be hurting its value much if I reparked it. The parts are pretty worn now. I figure its already been rebuilt at least once. Maybe 2x

I would like it to look nice when its in the new stock

The collector's value is shot , so you will not be harming it . Refinish and fit it right and shoot it . Enjoy.

Agree. No original barrel so go for it and make a nice replica

It would depend on the condition and originality of the receiver, base and staking. If those appear to be original I would not refinish.

Refinish! DGR is the best, especially restocking.
