This could be an original Marine Corps Sedgley made barrel. Meaning it was actually used during a rebuild.
Most of the Sedgley made barrels were never used. This one is an early made, compared to later barrels which we not used and sold off as surplus after the war. Interestingly the front sight appears to have been removed or replaced since the front sight base pins look disrupted. Gage the throat erosion and muzzel ware before you purchase it.

If it can shoot safely, that is, if the headspace is ok, as is the te and mw are in spec, the rifle cycles the rounds, no recoil cracks at the tang, etc. the price is great. Not so great if it is a wall hanger.
