    Default When Did Production Cease?

From what I understand, production of M1 carbines by all contractors ceased several weeks prior to the end of WW2.
Anybody here have any information on this?

I believe that Inland and Winchester were the only ones producing Carbines in 1945. They both show production through September of that year.

In general all production of carbines ended in April 1944 except for Winchester who continued into August 1945 and Inland who finished in September 1945.
