What are the correct bolt markings for Rock Island manufactured Model 1903 rifles?
Totally depends on the serial number of the rifle, as the bolt markings changed over the years.

While the vishooter site is a great resource; there are other markings variations. I have what appears to be an original RI, serial 311834. The bolt is marked H l 0. According to Mr. Beard, a 1918 RI steel lot code.
311,834 would date to 1918.
