1898 Krag SRS check
Recently purchased a 1898 Krag rifle serial Number 192382. It has a cartouche with 1899 date and also B.A.-J.S. initials. I will post some pictures later today. As I can tell the stock has been varnished and there is rust on both sides of the barrel were it meets the stock. Am trying to clean up the rust, any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
