I just picked up a really nice WWI M1916 holster with brass hardware that I thought was unmarked. After treating with Pecards some markings popped out-but not in the usual place. What appears is an unreadable "makers mark" in a very small font on the flap. The stamped letters run vertical under the large US. There could be a W and an M among the letters. Also, just below the US, but inside the circle are the larger letters IC in an early 1900s period serifed font. Anyone recognize what holster manufacturer marked their holsters in this way. Thanks for any help.
