To me it looks like a 1903 bolt. Am I missing something here?

It looks good to me, or it is the best fake I have ever seen. I vote real deal.
The price is stupid at this point. I'll sell mine off my A4 for $500.

A5, I'll take yours for that and put it on fleabay. A $290 dollar profit....what the heck.

As the late Turner Kirkland was fond of saying, "If you want good oats, you have to pay the price. If you'll take oats that have already been through the horse, those come cheaper."
It isn't a A4 bolt. That bolt has a small gas relief hole. Someone just got screwed, find a sucker and bang his ears.
That got obscene... I almost feel bad for the dude that bought it and got screwed. But, if you are willing to spend just shy of $800 on a bolt, it probably doesnt matter if it is real or not.
I agree with Weasel, other than the handle being too thick, to abrupt curve in a shorter than usual radius, no milling on the back end,,, it looks like an 03 bolt body and original A4 bolts don't have the bolt stop detents in the left lug.
Good observations guys!..For my money looks like a little too much meat in the "root" or "knuckle" area. The lower handle is shaped better than some have been in the past. Seems like there has been a big wave A4 bolts on the auction sites recently - wonder if any of them are real??
Wow. Good work, guys. I totally missed this one. Mea Culpa.

Waiting for John to chime in. Who knows? Maybe Remington made A4 bolts from 1903's-but I doubt it.
I sold a complete and blued, all original bolt for $750 about a year ago. I guess prices are going up some.
Said bolt sure is a fake.
JT - I'll up it to $550 on that bolt!
