Thread: Weaver KV Scope

    Default Weaver KV Scope

I have a Weaver KV scope with a post and horizontal crosshair. How is this scope used? Do you set the target on the post, which is not flat on top by the way, or try to use the post-crosshair interface to cover the target. Also, what other reticles were available with this KV model scope?

The post reticle in a scope was made to be used just like an open sight. The top of the post should be put where you want to hit. The horizontal crosshair was to aid in preventing cant.

I think the regular crosshair, and fine crosshair with dot reticles were also available.
