Thread: BSA sporter

  1. Default BSA sporter

Haven't been on this forum for awhile so I'd thought I'd share this rifle with anyone who hasn't seen it before. It is a BSA sporter built on the LLE action with a carbine bolt. This was about the lowest grade that they sold as sporters. It was sold through the A&N co-op to a fellow in November 1914. Someone with the same name was KIA in France the following year. Don't know if there is a connection or not.

Would have been nice if you could have got the silencer with it. ( legal in the U.K.)

Ooooooh that is sweet. We have a son who has been lusting for one of those for years. He's had to settle for my old SMLE sporter which is quite nice for what it is but definitely doesn't have the coolness factor of that rifle.
