Interesting rifle. Missing some key parts, but interesting nontheless. Mike

The action is a Savage 1920 just lengthened for a longer round the 1920 was made for the 300 Savage 250 Savage round. Probably made up as a sample to offer to a South American country but could have been made up by anyone. Too late for WWI. A stretched Savage 1920 bolt would probably work but would cost a lot to have done. To much money for a rifle with no documentation as to what it was or is and missing parts.

I have no proof, but heard that the 1920 Savage was an outgrowth of the rifle shown. As it goes, Savage was trying to get a contract selling rifles for WWI in the pre 1915 time frame. Serbia was interested in the 7mm, and this rifle could have been such a prototype.
