    Default No4 buttplate with no trapdoor?

    It is made of stamped steel and blued. I'm guessing this is a commercial piece from some variation of mass-produced sporter?

    I'm surprised. This buttplate looks so cheap, I figured it had to be commercial. It is unmarked as best I can remember.
