Yes sir, Brits slapped it on to let troops know it was 30-06 not. 303 P-14. I noticed a little white paint on front of hand guard by receiver. That I can't explain.

Don't fire til you see the white in their eyes?

White towards enemy good, red towards enemy *BAD*?

I want to pull old oil that's bleeding out of stock. I usually wrapped in toilet paper or paper towels, put stock in greenhouse for a few hours then wipe down with denatured alcohol. However I'd like to keep what paint is on it. I wonder if D.A. would take the paint off. I'm not sure what the Brits used but I heard it was cheap oil base. Any one know.

Mark on top of receiver above flaming bomb. I think this a foreign proof mark but correct me if I'm wrong
