Up date, Traded some fired 45 acp and 9mm cases for a set of used 45acp dies and loaded up some 45 acp rds. I cast some bullets w/the 45 swc mould I had purchased and they weighted out at 225 grs not 200 grs. Loaded 5.7 grs of unique and shot this group at 15yrs with a hand support from the bench with an old GI 1911 45 with the poor sights and a creepy/hard trigger pull. I wondered about those two left flyers and low shots so I checked some of the bullets I had cast and found a few of them were way out of round ranging from about .448 to .454 each bullet. Apparently the mould had not been fully closed on those causing the out of roundness. That would cause poor accuracy as the low end could cause blow by and throw the bullet off. Ray
