The pictures in the auction certainly do not look like the gun you described receiving. Seller also has an "unspecified" return policy, guess that is where the $250 "restocking" fee came from. Returns are not address in the text of the listing either, so you probably did the right thing - your first loss is your best loss, better to be out $250 (lesson learned) than the full purchase price.
