    Default Question on correct barrel for Mark I

    Gentlemen
    Can any tell me what I should be searching for as a correct replacement barrel for SA Mark I # 1165239 my new project? Any thoughts on availability @ a "reasonable" price. Greatly appreciate any help thanx Peace Lenny

    Your serial number is right on the "cusp" between 1919 and 1920 -0 a very late 1919 barrel or a very early 1920 would be correct.

    Serviceable M1903 barrels start at $200 and go up from there. Keep an eye on ebay or other internet auction, or post a WTB message on the sales forum.
