Default '43 & '45 Colt M1911A1 Recently Added to my Collection

A couple of nice original Colts added to my collection. FWIW I didn't pay the sticker price on the '43 Colt. It was traded in on some other guns and I just happened by the shop on the way home from work. It never made it to the internet site of the shop. It is has a F marked barrel, unfinished bullet ramp, matching slide, C-L magazine & reinforced Colt grips. Sorry for the cell phone pics.

The '45 Colt I purchased from Jackson Armory. I also have a '42 Colt (bought from jackthedog) and a '44 Colt purchased from oldcanuck.

Thanks to my friend/member Scott Wilson for helping me confirm things are correct before buying.

    1943 Colt Serial # 1111464

    1945 Colt Serial #2252010

It (Colt 1911A1, serial number 1111464) could have been shipped in one of two shipments of 2000 pistols each to Springfield. First one was Aug. 25, 1943 and the second one was Aug. 31, 1943.
