Krag value

Anyone have an idea what a Krag-Jorgensen (not SA Mfg) would be worth? About NRA 95%, original sling, s/n 287 (all parts are s/n 287) would be worth? (It's a beautiful rifle) New to this board, but if I can figure it out, will post pics later. (although a previous member of the original Jouster board) fogerty

With out pictures I am guessing that you are talking about a Norwegian Krag. If unmolested and in 95% condition could be worth $800-$1200

Unless it is a Danish Krag, which is (from what I see) worth less than a Norwegian or American Krag in the same level of condition.
