Thread: Greek 223

  1. Default Greek 223

Found a fair amount of this stuff , Olympic 223 made in Greece . Headstamp is kinds sloppy , looks to be 5.56 223 with a 10 and NPA . 50 rds to a box .
Also found some loose ammo in ammo boxes with stripper clips head stamped RORG 89 with NATO head stamp . Anyone shot any of this stuff ? And if so how did it shoot ? Kenneth

I have not used any of the Olympic ammo but I do know that company does not have a very good reputation for some of their ammo.

RORG-- British surplus NATO round 62 gr. FMJSC Same as LC SS109. Everybody was selling this stuff about 7-8 years ago. I bought a bunch myself. I believe it was $133 for 720 rds. in 50 cal. ammo can w/strippers and bandoliers. It is good surefire reloadable ammo that shoots pretty well for mil-spec. Royal Ordnance Radway Green.

Thanks for the info , the ammo boxes aren't marked as to what they are . The Olympic sounds like it might be a good idea to pass . Thanks , Kenneth
