  1. Default Masking D&T Holes for Resto

Many of the 03 sporters I find have holes for scope mounts that cannot be covered up when restoring rifle, even with making faux A1 or A4 snipers. Besides welding or filler screws, is there a good filler that can take and hold the parkerizing? Or should I just use a Sharpie?

nothing...do it right...or not at all.
if it aint broke...fix it till it finally is.

So what is the right way. This kind of gunsmithing is not something I have experience with.

weld the holes shut. or use filler screws...i have on milsurps posted a how to... no epoxy or glue will fill the holes, and take heat from being blued or parkerized
