  1. Default J.C. marking on stock. PIC

    Whats the J.C. next to the P on the wrist on the stock for.

    Small initials are found in this location on many stocks in good condition. It is a subinspector mark to show he at some point in stock production inspected it and found it passed his inspection and was finished and used to assemble the finished weapon. the P in ball and final cartouche came later.
