    Default Remington 03-A3 rear sight

    Gents,

I'm doing a restoration on a 4-43 Remington 03-A3 and have a question about the rear sight. I've seen numerous rear sights marked "R" but in various places...some on the sight base (in different areas), some on the aperature ramp, etc. Just what is/are the correct marking(s) found on a rear sight for the time frame stated above? Also, some seem to have the windage ticks highlighted in white but these appear to be parkerized (I'm looking for original blued parts).

    TIA,
    VG
