    The don't say any thing in the description about the nonmilitary sling swivels. That is a lot of money for that carbine!

    I suppose some bidder may think it's not likely a fake as are many in other public offerings. Like you said, kinda ratty.

    CMP auctions always seem to bring several times to worth of whatever is being offered. I don't know if the bidders see it as a sort of "donation", or what.

    Here is a picture of pending auctions that the CMP posted last year. Looks like they have several to auction. They all appear to have had swivels added for some purpose. The one in the top foreground appears to have a hole drilled.

    "JLA" inspection stamp?? Sounds like whomever lists the auctions doesn't know a lot about Krags!

    What do you mean? JLA stands for J. Lumner Adams. I thought everyone knows who he was.
