    Default Chris Kyle Funeral

Chris Kyle is getting as close to a State funeral as I suppose a man who is not governor can get. There is a memorial service today at Cowboy Stadium. Tuesday Kyle's body will be taken to Austin for burial in the Texas State Cemetery. The motorcade will be escorted by the Patriot Guard riders.

I've got a friend going to the service and met a man at work yesterday going to pay their respects. My Kyle could have been buried almost anywhere but will be layed to rest with other Texas heros. May God Bless his family and Texas.

Just blocks east of the State Capitol, the Cemetery is the final resting place of Governors, Senators, Legislators, Congressmen, Judges and other legendary Texans who have made the state what it is today. Efforts to establish the Texas State Cemetery began in 1851, with the death of General Edward Burleson. Burleson served with Sam Houston in the Battle of San Jacinto and as Vice President of the Republic of Texas. Throughout the years other notable Texans have been buried on Cemetery grounds including: Stephen F. Austin, General Albert Sidney Johnston, Governor Allan Shivers, Governor John Connally, and Lieutenant Governor Bob Bullock.

think the boy that killed him had some severe problems that Chris had tried to help with........ Chris died as he had always lived, in service to others, trying to help someone....one helluva man...........
