  1. Default German Ammo ID please

    The one of the right is 1934 dated standard 7.92 ball I'd assume?

    What is the armor piercing on the left for?

    If strictly for M.G. it will say "fur M.G." on the label,clipped ammo for rifles will usually have an "i.L" on it.General usage I'd say.German M.G. belts were reloaded not throw aways like ours were and the ammo came packed in 300 round cartons packed in boxes like that.

    The left box is AP, I see no special use indicated, except perhaps the 'Nz. Gew' (nitrocellulose rifle). The right hand one is 'Ball, Heavy', also with the Nz.Gew.
