  1. Default Aerial commando knife?

I have a knife I was told was a WWII Commando knife. It is marked AERIAL over CUT MFG CO. There are 2 pins in the Pommel. It has a stacked leather grip with 2 red spacers about a 1/4 way from each end.

    See pics.

Can someone tell me the approx. value of the this knife.
Blade has a nice patina no rust or pitting.
It has been carried and used but not abused.
    Blade has been lightly sharpened.

    Default

These were commercial knives made with leftover parts or parts that did not meet government inspection standards. Most were post war as the government normally required during the war that steel not used in the manufacture of contract knives be returned as scrap. Not totally impossible to be wartime, if so it would be late in the war.

Here is a copy from M H Cole's US Military Knives Book 4 book showing one of the ones like you have.
