German flares available??

I put an ad on the classifieds, but are looking for answers hgere also?
Anyone know if flares are available for a German DUV 43 flare pistol?
Or maybe a conversion insert to something common??

If the flare gun uses 26.5mm flares Dan’s Ammo and Widener’s have them at $35 for ten plus hazmat fee and shipping.

The 26.5mm to 12 gauge adapter is available at American Specialty Ammo for $15 plus shipping. They also have a 26.5mm Smokeless Re-loadable Case that uses a 9mm blank for the propellant charge for $13.

The flares and adapters are available at other locations but they tend to cost more. Gun shows might be the best place to purchase to avoid the hazmat fee for flares.
12 gauge flares are widely available at boating supply stores or even Walmart.
