    Default Smith Rifle Scopes

I'm trying to get a little bit of info on a rifle scope sitting here.. it is a Smith Rifle Scope, fixed 6X, 1" tube, 40mm front lense and a 30mm rear. It also has the stampings under the name Kollmorgen Optical Corp. Northampton, Mass. also stamped is Smith Mounts San Antonio TX.

Any info would be of help as well as where it might be sent to get serviced. I DO know that the last time it was used was in 1952 by my machinists dad.

    Perhaps Stith not Smith?

Stith sold Master, Double and Bear Cub scopes, then Kollmorgen offered them under its own name from 1956.
In 1958, Redfield purchased the riflescope business of the Kollmorgen Optical Corp., which had made scopes for M.L. Stith.

For repair you might try ABO (USA) Inc.
