G43 cleaning rod?

Are the cleaning rods in K98's the same as the cleaning rod in a G43? Also are the slings the same?

Yes, altho I do not know length on rods, probably 12.5" as the short ones were phased out by then.

The K98k sling was used mostly, however a sling purpose made for the G/K43 is about 8 inches longer, and somewhat thicker. This is according to "Hitlers Garands" by W. Darrin Weaver, which you should have if you own or anticipate owning a G/K43. There are far too many Fakes and Fraudulent parts made to separate you from your money, for you to not have some good information as to what is genuine and what is fake. Mr Weaver admits to having purchased some of those before he truly found out what is real, and even then he admits to not being sure on some items (there are not many of those).
