    Default And then the fight was on....

    Found this on my favorite nephew's girlfriend's FB page. She's studying to be a child therapist and had a bunch of cute funnies by and about kids.

    While you don't have to have served to appreciate this it helps. The 'disdain' one branch holds for members of the other branches is called Esprit de Corps.

    I think it's sad that kids know what BJ's are. When I was in jr.-hi and high school in the mid-late 60's I was very confused when I heard references to "homos." From my standpoint, it seemed an unlikely insult to refer to people as a kind of milk. We were pretty damn protected... and I think that was good.

    If I heard my dad use 'damn' I knew that he was extremely aggrevated and knew it was best not to draw attention to myself. But you are right the standards of todays parents don't come close to reflecting the standards we grew up with.
