Tony-I hope the younger collectors appreciate the fact that sometimes you have to wait half a life time to find that certain item for a collection. I know I have had to with M3's, ebay wasn't always around. Nice HD&S! Thanks for showing! SKIP
That's the good thing about living in New Jersey, don't have to worry about finding rare and interesting trench knives. They are prohibited weapons in N.J. And we got to save our money on the CMP M1 carbines too, they are 'assault' weapons that require a special permit to purchase. To the best of my knowledge, no one has been able to convince a judge that owning a M1 carbine assault weapon would be "in the public interest". Sorry for the rant, Tony-in-NH, great find!!...

Tony! You found it! I made it in my garage 35 years ago, sold it at the Glastonbury CT gun show to a fellow from Virginia..! My blackening stuck!:-) ..
