    Tony-Quick question. What is the handle made of on the lower knife? Looks like cast iron rather than brass. THX SKIP

    It is brass with nickel over the brass

    Tony: Same model of M1918? Blades quite differnt. Why?

    The top one is a Documented Prototype. They both are listed on Van Dyks list 114 &115by description. I do not know if the bottom one was the final one going to production or if the straight brass handles with the bottom blade style were the final production model. I have learned over a period of time that OCL was playing with blade styles amongst other things.
