98src, how's this?....42814
98src, looked over rifle and not much to report...no polished follower, bolt body or top rails, different stock. Barrel does have letter with number, see picture.42812
98src, not familiar with the other NM characteristics, what else should I be looking for?
I have recently purchased a Springfield Armory 03, S/N 1272741 with a star gauged barrel, wondering if it has any known history? Thanks
Herschel, I'm not sure what your saying. My pistol has a Remington Rand frame, is it possible N.M. pistol's used any frame that was selected or are you saying that Remington frames were never used?...
This rifle was sold as an Eddystone, I say a Winchester. Is it a 1917
or a P14?41261 It's chambered in 30-06.
A question for the 1911 experts.... In regards to the early 1960's Springfield Armory built National Match pistol's on the Remington Rand frame. I see different recoil springs available ( pounds?)...
That is the semi fancy walnut stock. Hand guards look darker in the pictures but match pretty good.

I have tried to contact Starline a couple of times an asked why they don't make 30-40 brass! Never had an answer from them. Anybody have an educated guess why they don't produce some?
I would like to thank psteinmayer for two nicely made Krag charger's that came today! Also like to thank Parashooter for the original idea! Thanks guys
