I have read through those, but thanks for taking the time just the same. So far, I've fired 500 rounds of Armscorp ammunition through it. Thus far, I haven't had any issues with function. I may...

A recent acquisition: an M1 Carbine, manufactured in 1943 by National Postal Meter. New stock finished by myself, with a repro sling from At The Front. Bore's in excellent condition. The original...
Saw it last night, overall a good effort. It was lacking in character development and you never really get a clear window into who the crew members are as individuals, and at a run time of nearly...
In fact, I did "Google" it so no lazy intended. I just thought you might have photos of the finished product. Sorry to harsh your mellow with an apparently unreasonable request.
Chuck,
Do you have any photos of the minelli stocks you've done? That website is atrocious and I'd like to see some examples.
Apparently Turner is now producing brass hardware in-house and will soon be offering it as an option.
Dupage is your best bet, but don't expect a drop-in stock. You'll have some work to do, maybe a little if you're lucky or maybe a lot if you're not. They all have issues.
Some of you gents are pretty harsh. He called their M1's a POS. It's not as if he called your momma fat or your daughter a whore, lighten up.
Wow, that's a real gem.:headbang::headbang:
A good point Johnny and one I assumed was self evident enough not to need mentioning. No, you're never going to stop verdigris where it lives, so to speak.
Several years ago a remake was in the works, with Barry Pepper in the title role. Apparently the studio heads decided that America didn't want another war movie so the project was shelved.
I believe the price was similar to their stock sling, perhaps a little more. It would be best to contact Turner directly on that. I'm afraid I've slept since then. :)
I think you might try dabbing some in there with a Q-tip.
One thing to remember about Renaissance Wax is a little goes a long way. If you're using enough to goop up snaps and such, you're using too much.
The way '03 prices have been climbing you might want to hold off one that. Before too long you might be able to sell you 'A3 and buy a new Ruger and then some. Personally, I wouldn't do it. I've...
Fred, I hate to say so but I don't really remember. I believe the quote was six to eight weeks. Regardless, they made it within the stated delivery time which wasn't excessive. They did compliment...
I've been meaning to post this for some time but haven't gotten around to it until now.
One of the things really lacking is a 1907 sling with quality brass hardware. The only ones typically...
One of the best products I've found is Renaissance Wax. It was developed in the museum community for conservation purposes. It's original use was for the preservation of wooden antiques and I've...
Yes, the grips are grooved. The opposite side has a chip out of the upper edge but otherwise they're in pretty good shape.
I'm not a bayonet collector, but I thought I'd share a photo of mine.

Yes she is, and still a class act. They don't make them like her, or the Duke, anymore.
More likely is the fact that all of those repeat performers were all part of the John Ford stock company. In the old studio system actors didn't have the control over their careers actors do now. ...
Would the be R.I.P.D. ?
I didn't enjoy the first one enough to spend money on the second, and Jim Carrey seals the deal.
The premis is that violence is an inherent part of the human genome, average or otherwise, and it simply can't be avoided. The one night purge is used as a way for people to "get it out of their...
