I have acquired a decent Lyman 48S 03A3 sight - but some issues as shown below - and both (I assume) that the sight be taken apart to fix. While the base and the slide do not have matching ID marks...

Not really. My MilSurp buddy said $100-$150 all day long tops for good condition. I don't believe him as my online scouring showed $200/$250-$300 or more for good complete ones appearing as sold. ...

Sight is just fine! A little Kroil and a very light tap and the cam was free.
