Your scope is a commercial scope. It was never used on a military rifle, or on a SS rifle. Since these scopes were made not consecutively serialized it is my personal belief the pictured scope dates...

We were successful in making a deal, and I'm now very pleased that my search for a cutaway model was not only at first overfilled with a complete one but also accompanied by a cutaway model now.

A bolt coded "J5" should be correct for a Mark I rifle.
