Great little song on you-tube, about the town.
Interesting to know. I got out as an E-5, navy. I may still have a dungaree shirt and dixie cup somewhere.
You brought tears to my eyes. We often take our pets for granted. I had to put our oldest cat down a month ago and another 10 months before. For some reason they always adopt me as their main care...
For mellower stuff I often listen too Blackmore's Night,(Richard Blackmore of Deep Purple and Rainbow). The Sidh,(Italian group that mixes flutes pipes and electric guitars and keyboards. Jamie...
There is a you-tube video of an interview with him about the Rocky Horror Picture Show. It's worth watching.
For bling, you could put some parade bayonets on them. Easier to clean up than tinsel. :)
There is a difference between factory original and perfect/flawless restoration.
Time to switch to a front stuffer
In some ways the olympics are more professional than pro sports. I no longer care for either.
I'm reminded of a book we had to read in school and then watch the movie: "The Lottery".
If I remember correctly, A modified SKS front sight tool will also do the job.
Wrap it in plastic and put in the freezer for a day. Then try again. You can also try the oven too. Your trying to temperature shock the corrosion.

Hard to shovel when the shovel sticks to the melting asphalt. Tucson is a little better. Hopefully I'll have the ac working in my truck next year
Sweet rifle. The only thing that looks out of place to me is the shiny filed spot on the thumb latch. I would have expected it to be finished as nicely as the rest of the gun
Ian on Forgotten Weapons posted a video of someones clever idea. Sorry, I'm not sure how to add a link.
John
3 & 4 fit my dad real well. :)
The only RIA I have ever seen at a gun shop was a Bannerman frankenrifle. It was on consignment and the price was border line. Now, I wish I had bought it just for the action.
Arm half of the police ranks with long bladed pikes. I had a military history teacher in high school. He stated "Fire enrages. Steel chills."
Thank you again. Is there any problem with continued use of this bolt? Better ones? I do have a remington bolt that came in a parts kit I bought years ago.
Here are a couple pics of a bolt that is on my '03. On another site, Mr Beard said it appeared to be an early bolt but has some confusing markings. I couldn't upload pics to that site so am trying...
I new a kid in high school whose family had a ranch. They found two bucks stuck together by the antlers. They shot them both and had the heads mounted. Nothing they did could get the heads apart....
Even refurbished, that is a nice set. The 1918 dated ones get snatched up quickly. I would expect it to go in the $200 range on ebay
