    Butt plate ID for WB inspected 1942 M97

    Does anyone have an original Butt Plate and screws for a 1942 M97 they could share pictures of? The stock I have has a WB inspection stamp and I would like to authenticate the butt plate and screws....

    Being unfamiliar when this shotgun I don't know...

    Being unfamiliar when this shotgun I don't know what the adapter is. The stock does not have a cartouche it looks sanded. I know with M1 carbines this lowers value significantly. I sent a PM.

    Does this Trench Gun look right

    New to military shotguns but would like to get one. This is supposed to be a 1942 date. Does it look right? I'm waiting for more pictures. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
