Greg, did you get my email yesterday? I sent a list of my interests. Thanks
Cleaned out my inbox now, or use my email
Mail box is full again. Can't answer you. I would take bare at the prices listed based on condition or assembled if that is what you have. I think my email is in one of the pm's I sent. Also hopping...
Sent you a PM thanks!
Tried to send a PM for a trigger housing, but your in box is full.
If it's 192 rounds it's on enblocs and in bandoliers. That is a good $30-40 in four bandos and 24 clips.
Thanks 1563621, looks like my short brushes are suspect then.
Tankerfrank, you do realize he passed over a year ago?
I understand there could be variations. I guess I should rephrase the question..
Are any or all of the pictured brushes know to be GI?
I was sure the short ones were OK, but now I am...
Hi, I finally found some WWI .45 cal fiber brushes to complete my 1912 squad kit. The 9 brushes I bought are different from the 4 I had. The "new" ones have about 2" of bristle while the "old" ones...

I'll take them
I will have to look at it, I keep the book in the safe these days. Thanks for the reply!
The parts can is interesting, my WWI kit came with the tin full of parts. Most of what was listed above. I will have to check and see what it has exactly. I did notice there was no slide stop and I...
I have a couple of 1912 squad kits I am working on completing and had some questions. I have both a WWI and a WWII type. It looks like the WWI boar hair brushes are much shorter than the brass ones....
Now I need to look at mine, I had issues with mine last weekend and have not investigated yet. Thanks for the timely pst. :-).
I would sell it whole if its a true late war rebuild. Those are more scarce than early receivers and late war parts.
I have a sportsman model riot gun and took it to the local trap range, I don't know if breaking clay or the looks I got were more fun. I will have to take my 97 trench one of these days.
I would leave it as-is and try to document the provenance with his uncle. Get a letter from the seller stating as such and research his uncle's name. See if there are any service records or photos....
I would try Acetone to remove the paint from the scabbard. Go over it lightly and wait a few minutes for it to soften, then go back over it. The green on the scabbard is paint so blasting will remove...
Both together could be worth 10x that, we need pics.. at $50 you stole these even if refinished.
