Thanks for the answers.
Appears to be un molested import that bolt came out of. "S" is below the WN.
I dissembled a Standard Products bolt today and found a type one firing pin marked WN with an S below. Riesch's book does not show that marking for Standard Products. Nor does anyone else. Any...
There were many Audie Murphy "Documented with papers" M1 carbines sold at the Tulsa Wanamaker gun show by J.C. Harrison before he died. LOL
I am wondering about the Flaming Bomb on the left lug. I have never observed one before and I have been doing this for a while.
I received an M2 over stamp this week. It is a 5 Mill range receiver. All Inland except SA trigger housing and an early, round bolt(no oil hole) It has SG on left lug, upside down as bolt is installed...

Go look at this one and go down to last PICs to see the real ones.
Ask Bill Ricca if genuine. See what his opinion is. C Tip is to short. I have been making carbine slings for over 30 years. There were reproduction Carbine slings in the 1960s.
I think top sling is repro, next two down is Riesing slings. (You can tell by the distance between stud and socket) Bottom is genuine carbine sling. JMHO.

If machining is very rough on the inside, keep looking it is probably a Winchester. Number on the bottom should end in 43. If it ends in 41 it is recut M1 slide.
I could use several hundred Garand, M-14 and 7 pocket M-16 bandoliers. If you have some for sale contact me @ garys615@aol.com

I need about 25 sets of M16 bayonet grips with or with out screws. Let me know what you have and how much you want to get for them.
Could also use 100 or so Garand Bandoliers.
send me an email,...
Schlagel Manufacturing, I believe 1943 not 48. I have seen many of them.
Nick has also quit and moved to Puerto Rico. I bought some of Nick's parts, Mario, (Bernard is Owner) at Northridge purchased some and I do not know who all bought parts from him. I miss Nick.
Eddie Yuga has quit. I spoke with him at the San Antonio show last week end he got a couple of parts from me to finish up a couple of personal shooters. I don't think he has anything left.
I sell it for $5.00 per round and it does not last long
From picture it only has four holes. It is White Phosphorous. I think US brass and Italian manufactured for the .303 British round. Bet if you measure the bullet it will be .310-.311 in diameter....
That sounds reasonable to me. Parker Wire Goods for Underwood, I have seen many R over SG ones.
I picked up a type three recoil plate last week end at Reno show. It is marked Rock Ola on the top of tang and PU I think on right side of tang??? Any thoughts? I have never seen one double marked...
I have a comment on the broken bolt.
The problem is caused by a bad recoil spring and or poor lubrication. The carbine will fire out of battery. If you look at the front bottom of receiver there...
Late barrel, PW oval is visible. If early barrel the type 3 band would cover it up.
I have bought parts from Rick and they were genuine.
