Yep. My IBM has an Auto Ordnance Corp (AO) receiver. But it doesn't run like my Thompson...

They converted M1 carbines to M2 select fire guns, marked them via overstamp and registered them. As far as I know they used all GI parts. The receiver is the registered part and they are not...
Find out what he "needs or wants" and help him out...
The RMC B could be an early Rockola for IBM stock. Is it I cut? High wood? I've only seen late acceptance stamps and they were 0.45" cannon, no box. There could be arsenal rebuild marks mixed in too....
You guys wouldn't know of anyone with a spare 5.5" barrel they could spare, would ya?

Both parts would have been marked on a factory gun, JAO is a post war replacement safety. How did you come up with the very specific date for the Win receiver?
What are the chances of finding a Hi-Standard rear sight for an older HD mil pistol?? TIA

Yes, everything is the same except the bolt. You'll need a 762 bolt but carrier is the same.

There a good outfit. Glad they made it right...
A question came up on another board. Is an M3 marked carbine NFA? I've never seen an M3 marked Carbine and don't know how or even if they were marked. Thoughts?

I believe that Inland and Winchester were the only ones producing Carbines in 1945. They both show production through September of that year.
Wait til it happens. If it does then get the permit. Don't alter the gun.
I missed a couple of Rossis on GB at around $300. BUT, I picked up a well used Win 62A for $425. It's not too pretty but it functions flawlessly and is very accurate. It doesn't take much to male...
Try a little COLT or LMT...
I have a yen for one of the old guns of my youth. Many a happy time at the carnivals of the 50s shooting a 22 pump action with exposed hammer. The Winchesters are a little out of my $$ range. Has...
What's the SN range of he gun?
Was that at the production stage? I've seen the X suffix used but D makes a lot more sense...
Nice gun. I believe he states $699 under pic of flip sight.
Is it safe to say that there was no FY45? Do you know what year they made Type 3 barrel (bayo lug) bands? TIA
