Are the brass trimmed to proper length? Not too long?

Suggestion....Having shot both Enfield and Springfields the Spring fields are MUCH more comfortable to shoot.
The Enfield stock is too straight so bangs you cheek pretty hard.

What is wrong with a good hollow based minne?

Try t find a web page for NSSA ( North-South Skirmish assoc.) or National Muzzle loading rifle Assoc.
Maybe they can provide some insight.

My understanding is that a 1903 stacking swivel screw can be made to work also.
Would accept either....hope there is one out there somewhere.

Sorry...can't post pics. I did not realize that there were so many different sights. The sight IS a Western unit. I was told that replacing the screw that holds on the side plate with a longer screw...

I know this is not the buy/sell forum, but I figured to get a more focused audience....
Picked up a peep sight for a Krag and a modified cutoff pin. Hoping someone here could help.

The ser.no. has a number not an "X". The stamp on the side of the receiver is:
CESKOSLCVENSKA ZBRO JOVKA,AS,BRNO. All in one line. It looks like a "v" over the top of the first (C) letter...
