In the middle of assembling a Mark 1 project and in the process found that the sear I have has been altered...
So, hoping to find one that has not been messed with-
Thanks for reading and if...
Wow...now that's what I call "eye candy"!
I'd say you've built a very convincing case cplnorton...as far as that goes, I'd like to think that could be the same rifle that Marine has shouldered in...

Used but not abused it appears to me...nice rifle to have !
Stanley P. Gibbs, Chief Inspector Springfield Armory 1932 through 1938 (approximate)
Well then, good luck in Louisville! I've heard that's quite a show...it appears then that you have a few mid going-towards late examples in your collection. To me, the most interesting aspect of the...
Affirmative...the extractor preferably marked with an "R". Just curious, is the bolt in question a favorable match for any of your rifles?
My rifle's bolt does have the large gas escape hole John~

Excellent...really appreciate those pictures and thanks for posting!
Very nice example and thanks for sharing!

Please put me on the list also for two...seriously!
Very cool...thanks for sharing!
It appears that you have much to look forward to...and good support too! You'll be fine...~"aim small miss small"~
Barrel could very likely be original to the receiver.
Barrel has been replaced...could be arsenal or by others. If serviceable with good bore and good over all condition then I'd say $700 tops.
