I'm OK...but unfortunately my wife isn't. Here is a close up of the slide SN on 55. BTW the slide stop is serrated and the hammer is smooth on this example.

Yup... faker. So much for half price.....
The black copper oxide finish that NAA started to use for production was about as durable as Colt's 'Black Army' finish. They both were very fragile to say the least.

There were some drawing numbers on some hammers with a C prefix, but for the life of me I dunno where he came up with that for his '41 RS ????
Condition and originality should always win out. Earlier is always better as long as the first 2 criteria have been met.
Pictures always help.... but sans photos, the USP has been removed.
