Another crew chief book is 'Flying Tiger, a crew chiefs story' by Frank Losonsky. He was in the first group in the AVG and is a pretty good read. Short book (~100 pages) but many great photos.

Havlin unfortunately does not have the part nor a picture of it. Looks like I will have to try and make something to replace it.

Hi,
Does anyone use a laser bore sight in tool? Looking for recommendations.
Thanks,
Bob
Yes, the bm59's are cool but the thing that I like about the Winchesters is that they are in .30-06. Is the select fire mod shown the same mechanism used on m14's?
Just saw this and I think it is new-Forgotten Weapons has a short video of two box mag fed M1Garands made by Winchester during WW2. Very interesting to see and lots of detail shown. Check it out!

Thank you Dave and Dave, exactly the info that I was hoping to find.
HI,
I have a Swedish mauser that I would like to install an accumount M41b mount on. The company has been a little stingy with info on installing it ('will send when they receive the order') and am...
Alum receivers work in AR design because the bolt locks into recesses in the steel barrel itself, not the receiver.
HI, I have a repro 1922 sporter stock, 90's vintage that I do not need. It is not fully inletted.
