More on NZ - antique Henry Rifle cops will not reimburse value of
My internet pal says one guy has a genuine antique 1860's Henry worth $40,000. The police won't pay the full value to take and scrap it and will not permit it to be exported for sale. The gunsmiths in NZ are all busy cutting down magazine tubes to comply with the ten round limit on ANY manually operated repeating rifle. He has had a .22 replica pump bobbed but it now fails to feed occasionally. If they bob the antique the value will be decreased and history lost. Lots of historic guns being destroyed or defaced in this persecution of our hobby down there. Even old Veterli bolt guns taking Rimfire ammo no longer available have to be destroyed.
