CMP guns?

I do own firearms I purchased from the CMP, but neither of these were. The M1 rifle was actually purchased through the DCM, back when you could only purchase one per lifetime in that program. The M1 carbine was purchased through the NRA back in 1964 by my uncle, I bought it from him 40 years later.

:) Okay, I'll call your 17 Enfield and raise you a couple of 03's and a half dozen more carbines.

I think I know a little about photography, but your pic blows me away. Well done. Those rifles are worth about ten times what you paid for them, but you aren't going to sell them just yet.
* that finish has a name I believe. Or it's a product I've heard of. I have never even seen a CSP hat.

Seems the CSP caps were a fund raiser for the website in the 2003 time frame, almost 20 years ago. Major Culver was insistent that they be quality caps and I typically only wear mine to gun shows and the range.
