Three years the Ford was supposed to have 11 working weapons elevators.

Recent report said they did hundreds of launches one day.

On another recent day, had major breakdown of system.

So working, but still troubles.

Lot of potential to be much better than steam catapults.

The EM catapults don't hammer the aircraft at the start of the launch, but do build up greater acceleration over time.
