Virus or economy? One's about as bad as the other.

It's easier to recover from a bad economy than from dead. Presupposing the bad economy doesn't kill you. The PPE situation would be expected to be better going forward, which helps medical people. Plus everywhere just learning from experience. Trump intends to run pilot projects on large indoor gatherings with his rallies. Y'all are invited!

The second wave should be about now -- the crowds during the protests over Floyd's death should have spread the disease like wildfire.

And they have, along with white spring breakers, and states that opened up without precautions.

Hello? Spring break is what we call Easter Break -- and Easter is long passed.

What did you expect? If crowds of 10 are dangerous, what are crowds of 10,000, cheek by jowl prancing down the street.

A lot of unemployed kids who have benefited from their rich parents. Or just dumb kids. Now blacks are precious. To be protected like unicorns. But they might kick like any other horse, don't stand right behind one.

How can we have a second wave when the first one isn't over?

This is considered the correct position, that those states seeing splikes, including AZ, TX, AR, FL, are still in an extended first wave. Moreover warm weather benefits have peaked in the south, now that summer heat is upon them and everyone disappeared into the AC.

Three weeks of sublime doesn't and end of pandemic make. I agree, we are still deluged with it.

A/C in one house where people stay put might be OK. A/C in the bar or mall might be hazardous. They don't have A/C in NY? Their peak has come and gone. And it was a peak. Seems this thing blows on the wind.

But hey, how many people have died? 500K world wide? It ain't 50M. I'm kind of a storm chaser.

People are dumb. They want normal back and if they have to make it up so be it and then you get the spike.
