I have a Coventry Health Care’s Medicare Advantage plan. It’s their group Advantra Silver HMO. Go to www.coventry-medicare.com to get information. The monthly premium for my plan is zero dollars but there are co-pays. In-network PCP is $5 and a specialist Is $40. Plans offered and monthly premium costs vary from state to state.

I have Kaiser Medicare Advantage. In fact one big reason for the move to OR was to get on the Kaiser System. Like all the "advantage" plans that substitute for plain vanilla Medicare, it includes Part D. Also includes a lot of freebies like reduced rates at participating gyms and your own personal doctor. Available anywhere, but some plans are better than others. Get Kaiser if you can.

Good luck!

Due to my brothers recommendations and due to I don't want United Health Care because of their ties to liberal AARP I chose BC/BS for and additional $176 ea per month over the $134 ea I pay for part B Medicare. Zero co-pay. Even with this additional cost it does not provide part D. For that we pay an additional $22 ea for mail prescriptions through Express Scripts. We've used them for years w/o any problems other than the doctors office not wanting to do the additional paperwork.

Since my wife and I just turned 65 and are not currently having any problems or under any doctors care/prescriptions we are going to drop the part D and go to a cheaper BC/BS program come October. Everybody's situation is different but this is what works for us.
